Karen and Kathy, identical twin sisters, have been sewing and crafting for years. Memory Bears began when a friend asked for ideas to make a keepsake from her late father's flannel shirts. After some thought and searching the Memory Bear was suggested and has taken off from there and has been their best selling item ever since. (600 + bears made so far.)
They decided to start a company after their first project was sewing napkin/silverware holders. The goal was to create a table decoration that would be fun, colorful and unique for any occasion but not take up a lot of space to store.
Quality and craftsmanship are the cornerstone of everything they make – from the potholder mitts to the bowl cozies. That philosophy grew into creating a line of products that they sell at craft shows, in their Etsy shop or by contacting them directly.
